Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge Choir to give three local performances
The Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge Choir will give three concerts in Alexandria. They are free and open to the public.
The first performance will be Sunday, August 18 at 9 a.m. at Lake Community Church, 490 Voyager Drive, Alexandria.
The last two performances will be Sunday, August 25 at 9 and 10:30 a.m. at Alexandria Covenant Church, 4005 Dakota St, Alexandria.
The choir's contemporary gospel and praise songs will be accompanied by stories of addiction recovery.
Representatives from the program will be available following the services to answer questions about Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge.
For more than 25 years, Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge has been restoring hope to those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
It is one of the largest and most affordable programs in the nation with campuses in Minneapolis, Brainerd and Duluth.
Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge offers both a long-term faith based recover program and a shorter term treatment program allowing it to serve individuals with a broad spectrum of addition issues.
