Meth investigation leads to two arrests in Elbow Lake
Two suspects were arrested in Elbow Lake Friday and face burglary and meth-related charges.
The suspects are Richard John Jacobs, 36, of Hoffman and Petina Sheri Kenoyer, 36, of Elbow Lake.
The West Central Minnesota Narcotics Task Force, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the Grant County Sheriff's Office and the Elbow Lake Police Department made the arrests after executing search warrants at two locations in Elbow Lake - 222 Central Avenue and 17 1st Avenue NW.
Agents say they purchased a stolen computer from Jacobs earlier that day.
The arrests were the results of an ongoing investigation in which agents allegedly purchased more than 23 grams of methamphetamine from Jacobs, Kenoyer and others.
Jacobs will be charged with first and second-degree controlled substance crimes, along with burglary and sale of stolen property crimes, according to the task force.
Kenoyer will be charged with second-degree controlled substance crimes, according to authorities.
Both suspects are being held at the Douglas County Jail.
