Marie Eva Wevley
Marie Eva Wevley, age 76, died on May 16, 2009 at Kingman Community Hospital.
She was born Aug. 26, 1932 in Browerville, the daughter of Tony and Julie Dirkes Gobernatz. On Aug. 29, 1952 she married Delbert Wevley in Clarksville, Tenn. She was a longtime resident of the Kingman community, a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, the DAV Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary and Blankets for Cancer.
Survivors include her husband; her mother; five sons, Mark of Texarcana, Texas; Bill of Seattle, Wash.; Greg of Ashflats, Ark.; Dennis of San Diego, Calif. and Kurt Zupko, Kingman, Kan.; two brothers, Jim of Morris and Tony of Seattle, Wash.; five sisters, Jeanette Jost and Betty Jost, both of Morris, Margaret Small of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; Helen Cleath and Irene Danko, both of Minneapolis; seven grandchildren and one great grandson.
Memorial services for Marie Wevley will be held May 20, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Livingston Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Waldon presiding. Memorials may be made with the American Cancer Society.
