Margaret Ann Williamson, 88, Alexandria, died March 20, 2014.
Margaret was born March 14, 1926 in St. Peter, the daughter of Reuben and Anna (Brandt) Anderson. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran. Margaret graduated from high school in St. Peter and was salutatorian of her class.
After graduation she worked in Minneapolis, where she met Dayton Williamson. It was love at first sight. The couple was married on June 28, 1946 in St. Peter.

While living in Bloomington, Margaret was very involved with her church, Christ the King Lutheran Church. She was a part of the Womens Circle, Wedding Ring Circle, nursery school and Vacation Bible School. Margaret also volunteered at the elementary school in the lunch room.
After her children were grown, Margaret worked as a secretary for Honeywell until 1986. The couple moved to Mound where they lived for 12 years before moving to Brainerd and then eventually to Alexandria to be closer to family.
Margaret will be remembered for her positive attitude, a very giving and caring person who had a wonderful smile. She also had a gift for gab and a tremendous memory. She will be greatly missed.
