Make your voice heard at local caucus on February 4

To the editor:

To all of you people out there who are tired of politics and the way things are going in government, it is time to reengage in the process.

On Tuesday, February 4 it is caucus night in Minnesota. This is a chance for all citizens to get involved at the grassroots level of the political process. It is a time to get together with like-minded people and to share ideas on how to make our government better.

I think it was Abraham Lincoln who is quoted as saying, “Government of the people, by the people and for the people.” It’s all about “the people.”

So no matter which political party you belong to, it is in your interest and all of our interests to get back involved in the process. Please consider coming out to the caucus meeting and seeing government at the grassroots level. If there is an issue you would like to promote, obtain a resolution form from your party’s website or at the caucus meeting itself.

If you don’t get involved in helping to make our country a better place, who will?

Make your voice heard – show up.
