Magic and more at AAAA this weekend

The Alexandria Area Arts Association (AAAA) Theatre is proud to present the "Mystification Magic Show."

The show, featuring the magic of Timothy and Barbara Tegge, is set to take the stage on Saturday, August 29 at 7:30 p.m. and again on Sunday, August 30 at 2 p.m.

Tickets for the show are $15 for adults and $10 for children.

Tickets are available at the AAAA box office, 618 Broadway, in downtown Alexandria or by calling (320) 762-8300. Office hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Tegges were both born into and raised around the colorful world of show business and the variety arts.

Each of their families owned small traveling circuses - Barbara's in Holland and Timothy's in the U.S.

Together, their shared experiences in circus, theater, cabaret and nightclub entertainment, along with their collective knowledge of the general entertainment industry and their outlook on the future of show business, is keenly blended into their new production.

Mystification combines the glorious days of classic magic and legendary vaudeville with a fresh, up-to-date approach that the couple hopes to satisfy all ages. They say their show is a Ed Sullivan, David Bowie, P.T. Barnum and Criss Angel, all rolled into one.
