Lottery ticket buyer in Douglas County wins new car
Some lucky person who bought a "Minnesota Millionaire Raffle" state Lottery ticket in Douglas County is the winner of a 2012 Ford Edge.
The winner hasn't come forward yet to claim the prize - the drawing took place on January 1. The winning ticket number was 417962.
In addition, two $1 million tickets were sold in Wadena (300691) and Steele (098220) counties, according to the Minnesota State Lottery.
A total of 150 winning tickets were drawn. Other big prizes included:
--Five tickets, each winning $100,000 were sold in the counties of Dakota, Hennepin (two winners), Mille Lacs and Ramsey. The winning numbers are 263715, 322741, 327611, 377331 and 455587.
--Five tickets are each worth $25,000. The winning numbers are 201612, 290005, 367096, 575430 and 599892.
--One hundred tickets won $500 each.
--Thirty-eight tickets won a bonus merchandize prize, including the Ford Edge ticket sold in Douglas County, a 2012 Ford Explorer (ticket number 252851) and a 2012 Ford Mustang (205443), both sold in Washington County.
A complete list of the winning numbers drawn on January 1, 2012 can be found at mn.lottery.com. Players can visit their local lottery retailer for a list of the winning numbers or sign the back of their ticket and check it themselves at most lottery retailers.
Winners of the $1 million prizes, $100,000 prizes and the vehicle bonus prizes must claim the prize in person at the Lottery's headquarters in Roseville. They should call the Lottery's public relations office at (651) 635-8271 to make arrangements to claim their prize.
Other prizes of $500 or more can be claimed at any Lottery office or by mail. Lottery retailers can pay the $500 prizes if they have the cash available.
Players have until January 2, 2013 to claim their raffle prizes from the January 1 drawing.
