Loose in the Tooth duo to perform
Loose in the Tooth, the musical duo of Annie Seamen and Leon Laudenbach, will perform at Sixth Avenue Wine and Ale in Alexandria on December 7 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Seamen is a singer songwriter from St. Cloud. At an early age she trained as classical violinist. While raising a family, she took time away from music to take care of her kids, but she always had the desire to continue with her music.
In 2011 she released an album, with Cathie English, called Tetraploid, which showcased her bluesy earthy vocals.
Laudenbach has played all over the Upper Midwest for more than 30 years. In 2010, he collaborated on a musical entitled Head Waters Blues Opry. Along with about 12 original album projects, he has an audio book and accompanying music CD coming out, Mother Pearls Love Letters. Music samples and video of his work can be found on his website at leonlive.com.
Seamen and Laudenbach have found a vocal harmony blend and equal influence in the music performed. It centers on folk blues tilted toward the blues.
