She enjoyed decorating her home and was constantly updating. People would always say it looked like it came "right out of a magazine." Lois enjoyed shopping in unique stores and going to garage sales to find treasures for her home, family and friends. She was an excellent seamstress and made many outfits for her grandchildren while they were growing up. Her grandchildren loved going to Grandmas for Christmas, as it was always filled with warmth and holiday spirit.
Lois had a sense of humor and wit about her that everyone loved. And no one ever had to wonder what was on her mind because she was always willing to share her opinion.
