License of Alexandria attorney suspended
The Minnesota Supreme Court recently suspended attorney Kenneth M. Bottema of Alexandria.
The order was issued after the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility (OLPR) filed a petition for disciplinary action against Bottema.
Bottema may request a vacation of the order of suspension and for leave to answer the petition for disciplinary action within one year from the date of the court's order of October 23, 2012.
The OLPR requested the suspension based upon evidence that Bottema couldn't be found in the state to respond to the petition for disciplinary action.
If Bottema fails to respond to the order within a year, the allegations in the petition will be deemed admitted.
