Library hosts December activities

In the month of December, the Douglas County Library is offering a host of activities for people of all ages.

On Monday, December 10, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., kids in grades 6-12 can build a gingerbread house at the library.

All materials, including candy and frosting, are provided.

Registration is required. Call the library at (320) 762-3013.

During the holiday break, kids can visit the library for books, DVDs and free programs. On Thursday, December 27 from 2 to 3:30 p.m., stop by the library's meeting room for drop-in crafts. All ages are welcome.

On Friday, December 28 at 2 p.m., the library will host a free movie of the 2012 animated movie The Lorax.

Finally, on Monday, December 31 from 11 a.m. to noon, join the library as it celebrates New Year's Eve with crafts and games. This program is open to kids of all ages.
