Library board of trustees appoints new members
Commissioner Mark Bromenschenkel, of Sartell, and Jeff Bertram, of Paynesville, were appointed to the Great River Regional Library Board of Trustees by the Stearns County Board of Commissioners.
The Great River Regional Library services six counties and 32 cities with an operating budget of more than $8 million. The 15-member board of trustees is comprised of seven county commissioners and eight additional members from the counties they serve.
Bromenschenkel is currently serving his second term and is involved in many activities throughout Stearns County and in his area.
Bertram lives with his wife, Marlene, and children, Jacob and Mitchell, in Paynesville. He has varied state, county and city experience, having served in some capacity at all three levels. He also has served on several state association boards and committees over the years.
Bertram is with West Central Sanitation, a regional refuse and recycling company that serves a 15 county area in central/west central Minnesota.
