Letter - Dalman columns are inflammatory
To the editor:
I knew Dennis Dalman when he worked at the Echo Press and I admired his enthusiasm for his work. My views have changed since reading his columns.
Dennis is entitled to be a political liberal. I thoroughly dislike his approach of harshly denigrating those with whom he doesn't agree, however.
In a recent column, he used loaded, inflammatory, judgmental words such as: dirty little tactic, dunderheaded, smug, smarmy, Gasbag Limbaugh, and they would vote against a cancer cure.
Columns should be written to inform, entertain, and perhaps influence opinions. His columns tend to polarize and inflame. That is irresponsible journalism in my opinion.
