Caregivers of children with fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) or suspected prenatal exposure to alcohol are invited to attend a Let’s Connect event.
It will be held Saturday, January 25 from 9 to 10 a.m. at LifeRight Outreach Family Restoration House, 1810 6th Avenue East, Alexandria.
Participants will join other parents and caregivers raising children prenatally exposed to alcohol for a morning of support and networking.
They will also have the opportunity to meet Carolyn Strnad, Regional Minnesota Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (MOFAS) coordinator. Strnad is a mother of three children with FAS.
The event will also provide the chance to learn about the resources that MOFAS has to offer and how it can support caregivers and their children.
Caregivers whose children do not have FAS are also welcome to attend.
For more information, contact Strnad at (218) 443-3916 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
