Let the spirit of the season begin

Be sure to bundle up for the Alexandria Runestone Museum’s annual Christmas in the Fort event.
Christmas in the Fort will be held November 29 beginning at 3 p.m. Admission is free.
Popcorn, pretzels and cider will be served, and attendees can enjoy carriage rides and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Music will be provided by the Zion Children’s Choir and the Jefferson Carolers. The Nordic Bees will also provide old time Scandinavian music.
The tree will be lit at 5:15 p.m.
The museum building will also be open for people to view with paid admission, and at no cost for museum members.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 3 p.m. – Gates open
3:15 p.m. – Santa arrives
3-4 p.m. – Music by the Nordic Bees
4 p.m. – Music by the Zion Children’s Choir
4-6 p.m. – Carriage Rides
4:15 p.m. – Music by the Jefferson Carolers
4:15-4:45 p.m. – Visit Mrs. Claus in the school house
5:15 p.m. – Light Up Alexandria
5:30 p.m. – Gates close
