LAT presents World War II experiences
Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) in Alexandria is offering the following productions this week:
The next live performance will be Saturday, June 14 with a staging of the one hour show The Unicorn in the Closet by Pennsylvania playwright Mike Murphy. The show begins at 7 p.m.
All live shows will be performed on the evening of the second Saturday of every month.

LAT is proud to present And The German Nurse Danced by Fr. Jeff Ethan. It is based on the oral history of an area resident’s experiences serving in World War II. The script was underwritten by a Douglas County Historical Society project funded with Legacy Grant funds from the Minnesota Historical Society.
The show was directed by Pete Woit and starred Cody Saurdiff, Kevin Lee, Quincy Roers, Ben Roers, Kara Gerdes, Bruce Wegner and Haley Wegner, along with some audience participation.
The show will be broadcast on Saturday, May 17 on KXRA 1490 AM at 12:30 p.m.
