Larson joins Echo Press telesales
Denise Larson was recently added to the sales department as an inside telesales person at the Echo Press.
She will be selling advertising for special projects published by the Echo.
A 1987 graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria, Larson received bachelor of arts degrees in mass communications and English writing from Concordia College-Moorhead in 1991.
For the past 18 years, she has lived out West, pursuing many different interests in cities such as San Francisco and Los Angeles, California and Dallas, Texas.
While in California, she worked as a facilities supervisor for a healthcare company, Mercer, Inc. Last year, she worked as an English teacher at a private school in South Korea.
Back in Alexandria, Larson is working at the newspaper and is also a full-time student through Bemidji State University's online program. She is working toward getting her teaching certification and master's degree.
