Larry Julian to speak at Faith at Work lunch
Larry Julian will be the speaker at the Friday, April 16 Faith at Work lunch from noon to 1 p.m. at the Broadway Ballroom. This event is sponsored by the Unity Foundation. Cost is $10 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at the Mustard Seed Book Store in Alexandria.
Julian is a successful consultant and speaker who specializes in Biblically-based leadership development and strategic planning. His mission is to help business people integrate their work and faith, transform their adversity into their destiny and revolutionize their life into their legacy. He's the author of the nationally acclaimed and best-selling business book, God is My CEO: Following God's Principles in a Bottom-Line World.
After the lunch there will be a short break followed by a panel discussion from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. The panel discussion topic is "Christianity in the Workplace." Panelists include: Tracy Weaver, moderator; Julian; Susan Nelson, owner of Bistro to Go; Tom Schabel, president of Alexandria Extrusion; Lynndene Way, owner of Chaplains Caring for Companies; Richard Erickson, RN, ICU at Douglas County Hospital.
There is no charge to attend the panel discussion. Everyone is welcome to attend.
