The West Central Area girls’ basketball team beat Swanville on the road and lost to Minnewaska at home in back-to-back games on Monday and Tuesday.

The win against Swanville on Monday wrapped up the Knights’ Prairie Conference season record at 10-4.

“Monday’s game was a nice win for us to finish our conference season,” head coach Beth Hill said.

Abby Van Kempen led with 15 points and Holly Van Kempen scored 14 against Swanville.

Holly Van Kempen led the WCA scoring against Minnewaska in a 20 point loss Tuesday at home.

WCA will wrap up its regular season schedule on the road Friday against Underwood.
