“It was a fun night,” WCA head coach Kraig Hunter said. “We set the tone early and played well in the first half. The fans from both schools were great in celebrating Dakotah’s well-deserved accomplishment, Jay Zimmerman had a dunk, and we got a lot of playing time for the whole team in the second half.  Everyone on our team played with energy and contributed again tonight.”

Zimmerman added double figures with 18 points to go along with eight rebounds and two steals. Austin Redepenning was not far behind with 12 points as the Knights improved to 5-1 after dropping the season opener.
