Kalisa Ewing to bring Grand Ole Opry to Alexandria

The south will go north in Alexandria this week as Grand Ole Opry performer and artist/songwriter Kalisa Ewing performs for the annual Douglas County Sheriff Federation and Posse Concert on Friday, October 18 at Jefferson High School.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with Ewing performing at 7 p.m. She will open the fundraising event for country music recording artist Wade Hayes.

Ewing made her debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry in 2013. Her songs have been recorded by several major recording artists.

Kelly Clarkson recently recorded Ewing’s song Go On for her upcoming RCA/Sony Music country debut. Dancing with the Stars winner Kellie Pickler recorded Ewing’s song Where Did Your Love Go for her new album, The Woman I Am.

Tickets are $25 and will be available for purchase at the venue box office the day of the event.
