Jump start for business success offered in Entrepreneur Boot Camp
The Alexandria Area Economic Development Commission (AAEDC) and Alexandria Technical College (ATC) Customized Training Center are offering a business startup class called Entrepreneur Boot Camp.
The class will be held October 1 and 2 at Alexandria Technical College Customized Training Center from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days.
Local professionals will present and address questions on topics including business structure, business start-up challenges, business financing, accounting 101, building cash flow projections, sales and marketing basics, Web needs for the small business, organizational efficiencies, insurance for the small business, and others.
Each of these topics has been specifically cited as an area of importance by small business owners in this area.
This training is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in learning more about what it takes to start a small business, entrepreneurs in the process of starting a business, and small business owners. Registration is $40 per person, and includes all materials, meals and snacks for both days.
