Jobs and Java to feature Outside the Box
Are you stuck in a rut of endless applications, resume writing and interviews? Attend the Jobs and Java event and learn about new job searching tools to get "Outside the Box" with your job search.
Alexandria WorkForce Center's "Jobs and Java" sessions take place every Tuesday at 10 a.m.
During these informal gatherings, participants can meet human resource representatives and hear first hand about their hiring processes. They can also learn about area companies and their products and services.
The sessions will also offer helpful information on completing job applications, resumes and cover letters, interview "dos and don'ts," and follow-up strategies.
The Jobs and Java sessions are held at the Alexandria WorkForce Center, 303 22nd Avenue West, (320) 762-7800. They are open to the public. There is no charge or registration needed. Coffee will be provided.
