Jobs and Java to feature informational presentation
Looking for the latest job seeking tips and an opportunity to network with employers and other job seekers?
You can find it at the Alexandria WorkForce Center's "Jobs and Java" sessions that take place every Tuesday at 10 a.m.
During these informal gatherings, participants can meet human resource representatives and hear first hand about their hiring processes. They can also learn about area companies and their products and services.
The sessions will also offer helpful information on completing job applications, resumes and cover letters, interview "dos and don'ts," and follow-up strategies.
Jobs and Java will feature an informational presentation via Skype about the LinkUp job search website, using social media websites, and job seeking tips on Tuesday, April 3 at 10 a.m. Attend this session to learn more about using the Internet for a job search.
The "Jobs and Java" sessions are held at the Alexandria WorkForce Center, 303 22nd Avenue West, (320) 762-7800. They are open to the public. There is no charge or registration needed. Coffee will be provided.
