Job vacancies in Minnesota climb 18 percent from a year ago
Job vacancies in Minnesota climbed 18 percent from a year ago in the fourth quarter of 2012, posting their highest numbers for the period in seven years, according to figures released today by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).
The survey, conducted twice annually by the agency, is a leading indicator of economic activity, with increasing vacancies showing stronger hiring demand by employers.
