Jefferson class completes service activities
The relationships and families class at Jefferson High School (JHS) in Alexandria recently completed the second and third of its four
service learning activities. During the second activity, the class brought in a total of 10 full bags of garbage during its Community Clean Up Initiative on the JHS grounds. Then, on Friday, May 30, students helped JHS teachers pack up belongings, textbooks, and equipment for the move to the new high school. The class will finish off its service learning projects on Friday, June 6 by visiting with residents and painting their nails at the Knute Nelson Care Center.
