On Tuesday, the public was able to get a first-hand look at what they’ve been watching unfold for what seems to be a very long time – a brand new high school.

An open house and dedication event to celebrate the new Alexandria Area High School (AAHS) were overwhelmingly attended Tuesday, with organizers estimating between 4,000 and 5,000 people.
