I94 re-opens in west central Minnesota

As of 7:15 a.m., the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) and the Minnesota State Patrol opened Interstate 94 from Moorhead to Alexandria and Highway 10 from Moorhead to Detroit Lakes.

Highway 210 from Breckenridge to Fergus Falls opened at 9 a.m.

Current driving conditions in west central Minnesota range from fair to hazardous, and motorists should still use extreme caution when traveling.

MnDOT reminds motorists to be patient while snowplow operators work to improve driving conditions and prepare for additional snowfall. The majority of snowplow crashes take place during “clean up” when motorists resume their normal speeds.
