I-94 cable median barrier project begins August 5
Motorists on Interstate 94 near Fergus Falls will experience intermittent lane and shoulder closures when a cable median barrier installation project begins Monday, August 5, weather permitting.
Crews will install the cable barrier along 10 miles of I-94 from approximately the north junction of Highway 59 to the south Junction of Highway 59.
Work is expected to last about one month.
Cable median barriers prevent vehicles from crossing medians and hitting oncoming traffic. Installing cable median barriers in strategic locations helps prevent fatal and serious injury crashes.
