Honors:

The following students were named to the fall 2012 dean's list at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth for achieving a grade point average of at least 3.75.

Alexandria: Amy Bruner, senior, nursing; Emily Deakins, junior, management; Brittany Ludwig, first year, health sciences; Emily Peck, sophomore, exercise physiology.

Carlos: Glorianna Blommel, senior, social sciences.

Rebecca Anderson of Brandon was named to the fall 2012 dean's list at The University of Wisconsin, Superior for completing 12 degree-seeking semester credits and achieving at least a 3.50 grade point average.

Samantha Berglin of Alexandria was named to the fall 2012 chancellor's list at the University of Minnesota, Crookston for completing 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 4.0 grade point average. Berglin is majoring in criminal justice.

Andrew Albertsen of Nelson was named to the fall 2012 dean's list at the University of Minnesota, Crookston for completing 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average.

The following students were named to the fall 2012 dean's list at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, for achieving a 3.5 grade point average while carrying at least 14 credit hours during a semester.

Alexandria: Zoe Weltzin, Dominic Wysoski.

The following students were named to the academic high honor and honor lists at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 grade point average to qualify for the honor list and a 4.0 to qualify for the high honor list.

Alexandria: Todd Johnson, honor list; Amanda Quiring, honor list; Sarah Sater, high honor list; Ariel Thiner, honor list; Hannah Wilson, high honor list.

Osakis: Joshua Crotteau, honor list.

Honor Roll:

Following are additional students named to the 2nd quarter honor roll at New Testament Christian School in Alexandria:

A Honor Roll Senior High: Tyra Quitmeyer, Mariah Moyle.

Scholarships:

Peter Brackin, a 2011 graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria, earned a UPromise Award from the University of Minnesota. Brackin was recently accepted to the upper division of the Aerospace Engineering class at the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities.

Christine Hoffman of Alexandria was awarded the Gertrude Gaffney Hanlon Memorial Scholarship, Karyn Nielson Memorial Scholarship and the Phi Mu Delta Scholarship from the University of Minnesota, Morris for the 2012-13 academic year. Hoffman plans to graduate from Morris in 2013 with a degree in Spanish and mathematics and a minor in chemistry.
