Jefferson High School Homecoming royalty was crowned at a coronation ceremony at the school gymnasium Monday. This year’s queen and king are Lacey Werman and Bryce Klang. Other candidates included Sarah Bruzek, Heidi Moe, Katlin Rice, Riley Hvezda, David Krivanek and Mitch Peck.

Sophomore attendants were Lauren Niska and Sam Helgeson, and junior attendants were Amanda Haack and Parker Revering. This year’s junior royalty was Anniley Lambrecht and Thomas Henrichs.

JHS students will celebrate homecoming week with special attire, including dress-up day, toga/peasant day, college attire day, super hero day and school spirit day. A pep fest will take place Friday, with a community parade at noon on Saturday, followed by a tailgate party in the school parking lot. The football game against the Willmar Cardinals will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday.
