Help raise money for Empty Bowls Project

Alexandria’s Jefferson High School (JHS) students are raising money through the Empty Bowls Project to benefit those in Douglas County who are living below the poverty level.

The public is invited to help the students raise $7,500 with a dinner and silent auction on Tuesday, March 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the JHS cafeteria. Entertainment will be provided.

The cost is $5 for dinner. Handcrafted bowls will also be sold for $5.
