Habitat for Humanity to offer warehouse sales
If you have a home repair or improvement project coming up in the near future, you may want to check out the upcoming Habitat for Humanity Warehouse Sales.
Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County (HFHDC) will be holding three inventory reduction warehouse sales to prepare for the remodeling of their current space to support a "Habitat ReStore" to be opening in the spring of 2014.
The ReStore will accept donations of new and gently-used building materials, furniture, appliances and large housewares and sell them to the public.
All sales from the ReStore will go to support the building of homes for families in need in Douglas County.
In preparation for this project, HFHDC will be liquidating their inventory of items with three special inventory sales.
Organizers say all items have been priced to move, as everything must go to prepare for the remodel.
Sale hours are from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will take place on Friday, July 26, Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 10.
Items at the sale will include cabinets, trim, interior and exterior doors, windows, sinks, furniture, appliances and some miscellaneous items.
All items have been donated to HFHDC by local supporters and all proceeds from the sale go to fund the building of homes for families in need of safe, decent and affordable housing in Douglas County.
New items continue to be added and price reductions have occurred throughout the warehouse.
The sales will take place at the 1211 North Nokomis NE Alexandria location (use the north door).
Sale specials and select items included in the sale can be previewed by visiting HFHDC on Facebook. No presales are offered. Delivery and holds are not available.
