Habitat to host motorcycle ride

The eighth annual Habitat for Humanity Motorcycle “Ride to Provide” will take place on Saturday, June 28. Registration begins at 10 a.m. at Apol’s Harley Davidson in Alexandria. All riders are welcome.

The ride will be a 125-mile fun-run format, with the first riders departing around 11:30 a.m. There are two gas/stretch stops coordinated in the ride, as well as a lunch stop in Evansville at the park.

The ride will conclude at Awake the Lakes RibFest in time to enjoy the festivities. Door prizes donated by local merchants will be drawn for registered riders.

The ride is $25 per motorcycle and $10 per passenger. Proceeds go to support the building of homes for families in need.

Riders wishing to maximize their support of Habitat for Humanity are encouraged to download a pledge form and raise additional funds through the support of their families and friends.
