Habitat to hold final warehouse sale of the season

Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County (HFHDC) will hold its final warehouse sale on Saturday, October 20 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will be the last sale until spring, and items are priced to move.

Items at the sale will include cabinets, trim, interior and exterior doors, windows, sinks, furniture, appliances and some miscellaneous items.

All items have been donated by local supporters. All proceeds from the sale go to fund the building of homes for families in need of safe, decent and affordable housing in Douglas County.

The sale will be located at 1211 North Nokomis Northeast (use the north door). Select items included in the sale can be previewed by visiting HFHDC on Facebook. Delivery and holds are not available.

Habitat will accept new and gently used building supplies, appliances and furniture throughout the winter months for sales to be held in the spring.

Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County has been an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International since 1997 and has built 31 homes for sale to partner families throughout Douglas County, providing housing for 127 people.
