Habitat celebrates 15 years, seeks more families wanting homes
This year marks Habitat for Humanity Douglas County's (HFHDC) 15th year of building hope, homes and community in Douglas County.
Habitat is recruiting families who may meet the criteria to become a Habitat partner family based on need for housing, ability to pay a mortgage of around $600 to $750 per month and the ability to partner with HFHDC.
Currently, Habitat has a home ready for a qualified partner family to purchase upon completion of their sweat equity. Habitat is also actively seeking candidates for homes that will be constructed/rehabbed in 2013.
Individuals who know of a family in need and who could use a hand-up to home ownership may refer them to Habitat at (320) 762-4255 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
