The last big tournament that Alexandria Golf Club head instructor Lisa Grimes played in was the U.S. Open where she missed the cut in a field filled with the best young golfers in the world.

Early last week, she found herself once again surrounded by some talented young players. This time, she showed them how steady, mistake-free golf gets the job done as Grimes won the Minnesota Women's State Open for the third time in her career.
