Governor appoints former Brandon resident to rural research center board
Governor Tim Pawlenty recently appointed former Brandon resident Michael Brethorst to the Center for Rural Policy and Development.
Brethorst, who now lives in Barnesville, is the chief operations officer for the city of Barnesville. He is a captain in the Minnesota Army National Guard where he holds the position of senior counter intelligence officer with the 34th Infantry Division.
