Glenwood State Bank gets national spotlight
Glenwood State Bank, with locations in Alexandria, Villard and Glenwood, will be featured in a national news program this weekend.
On Saturday, March 29 at noon, In View will feature Glenwood State Bank as one of the nation’s examples of excellence in community banking. The show will air on Fox Business Network, channels: Charter Communications 232 or 729, WOW Digital 133, Dish Network 206, and DirectTV 359.
In View, hosted by Larry King, produces television programming that informs, educates and enlightens viewers on a variety of subjects.
Glenwood State Bank is included in a series of educational programs on community banks. In this process, they looked for community banks around the country that stood out in the industry. Specifically, banks that were financially successful and growing, making more loans than their peers, and faithfully and consistently giving back to their communities.
A news release on the bank’s website noted: “In View realized that it was not community banks that drove our nation into the economic challenges, yet it will be community banks leading the nation out!”
