Free educational session explores economy and market changes
A free educational seminar entitled “If Only I had a Crystal Ball: Economy and Market Changes” will discuss strategies that help navigate the market and know when to make changes to investment strategies.
The public is invited to attend the seminar on Tuesday, January 14 at 6 p.m. at Grand Arbor, 4403 Pioneer Road Southeast, Alexandria.
Jason Briscoe, regional consultant from Thrivent Financial, will explore the topic in depth.
Briscoe came to Thrivent from PFPC Financial where he worked in corporate retirement sales for five years. For Thrivent, Jason worked as a financial representative before joining the corporate office. Briscoe holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
This is the fourth seminar in an ongoing series hosted by Thrivent Financial and Knute Nelson. The final seminar topic is Long Term Care and Estate Planning: The Essentials, set for Thursday, January 30.
It will present information related to long-term care issues including how to plan for long-term care. Local attorney Benjamin Head and long-term care specialist from Thrivent Financial, Dean Newhart, will facilitate this session.
There is no cost to attend. RSVPs are appreciated due to limited space. Desserts and refreshments will be provided.
