Free class of children's mental health
When do you seek help for your child's behavior? What information do you share with a professional?
What Works, What Helps - Treatment Options in Children's Mental Health is a free class sponsored by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota that looks at challenging behaviors in children and provides ideas for parents to help them.
This class will help parents learn warning signs, diagnostic assessment process, and treatment options. Learn from experienced parents about mental health treatment options that may help your child.
The class will be held in Alexandria on Thursday, May 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 605 Douglas Street.
