Boats slowly manuevered on Lake Carlos today for a Fourth of July parade. Because of high water, several lakes are under restrictions, no wake 300 feet or less from shore, including Lake Carlos. Fourth of July festivities are taking place throghout Douglas County today, including on the water.

Al Edenloff is the news and opinion page editor for the Echo Press. He was born in Alexandria and lived most of his childhood in Parkers Prairie.
