Fourth candidate files for sheriff

A fourth candidate has filed for the Douglas County sheriff position – Scot Umlauf.

Umlauf, a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office sergeant, joins the incumbent sheriff, Troy Wolbersen, State Trooper Rich Homan and Greg Windhurst, a DCSO patrol sergeant, in the race.

The filing period ends on June 3.
