Four Douglas County artists featured in new LRAC exhibit
The Lakes Region Arts Council (LRAC) recently announced the opening of a new, juried exhibit.
The exhibit, "Black and White Photography," opened on January 12 and will run through April 10 in the LRAC Gallery at the historic River Inn in Fergus Falls.
The exhibit features examples of rural and small town scenes, taken by many area artists, including three from Alexandria and one from Kensington.
A reception for the artists will take place on Tuesday, January 20 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the LRAC Gallery.
The public is invited - and encouraged - to attend the reception to visit with the artists and view their works of art.
Featured artists include Claudia Grove, Ginger Rich and Noel Rich from Alexandria, Tracy Anderson from Kensington, Sandra Volkmann of Henning, Donna Aase of Detroit Lakes, Josh Kugler of Erhard, Steve Nelson of Underwood, Kay Ornberg of Hawley, Gaylen Peterson of Lake Park, Eric Santwire of Fergus Falls, Rachel A.
