Former lieutenant governor candidate to speak at league meeting
The next meeting of the Alexandria Area League of Women Voters will feature former lieutenant governor candidate Jim Mulder.
Currently an adjunct professor/instructor at the University of St. Thomas in public administration, Mulder served as the executive director of the Association of Minnesota Counties for 21 years. In 2010, he ran with Tom Horner for the Independence Party of Minnesota.
Mulder’s career in public service and public policy analysis is extensive, and he is currently finishing his doctoral dissertation at Hamline University that focuses on leadership in the redesign of government services.
Mulder will be speaking to the Alexandria Area League of Women Voters on Wednesday, November 13 at 5 p.m. at the Douglas County Library meeting room. The title of his talk is “Would-a, Could-a, Should-a or Will, Can, Shall. It’s up to you.”
The public is welcome to attend.
