Former cocaine dealer, now evangelist, to speak in Pelican Rapids
Bob Hanus, a former cocaine dealer turned evangelist, will be the featured speaker on Friday, July 19, at the Old Fashioned Gospel Tent meetings held in Pelican Rapids.
Hanus shares the gospel by carrying a large wooden cross through the streets of North America, passing out gospel tracts and praying with people for salvation.
Since 1993, Hanus said God has allowed him to "crosswalk" more than 22,000 miles through more than 1,500 cities and towns in every state in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He will also lead an Evangelism Seminar on Saturday, July 20 at 1 p.m.
The tent meetings will run Wednesday, July 17 through Sunday, July 21 with a worship team and speaker every night at 7 p.m. and are sponsored by Dave and Dawn Lysaker and located a half mile east of Highway 59 on Highway 108.
