Floatin' along on the Fourth of July

Dozens of boats took part in the 7th annual Ferrt Drive Pontoon Parade on Lake Osakis Friday afternoon.

Each boat was decorated with a theme - everything from a pirate boat to red Solo cup party barge. Boaters tossed (floating) bags of candy to kids on shore.

A crowd gathered at Head of the Lakes Resort on the north end of Lake Osakis and lots of kids were in the water and waving from the ends of docks.
