Fire destroys mobile home near Rose City w/video

Fire destroyed a mobile home north of Rose City Friday afternoon.

Firefighters from Miltona and Parkers Prairie responded to the call at 18611 County Road 18 NE, Eagle Bend, the home of Tom and Carrie Price, at about 4:30 p.m.

When they arrived on scene, the mobile home, which included some additions, was fully engulfed.

No one was in the mobile home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The Prices were building a new home on the property, according to a relative.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office and Parkers Prairie Ambulance also responded to the scene.
