Fire destroys Kensington home Friday night

Fire destroyed a rural Kensington home Friday night.

The fire was reported at 23218 County Road 99 Southwest, just after 11 p.m. Saturday, August 13.

No one was home when the fire was reported and no one was injured.

The house, owned by Nathan Charles Long, was a total loss. A vehicle parked near the house was also damaged by the fire.

Kensington and Hoffman Fire Departments and Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.
