Fire destroys barn near Brandon

Fire destroyed a barn west of Brandon Saturday.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office received a report of the fire at 10:43 a.m. and the barn was fully engulfed in flames when deputies and firefighters arrived at the scene at 6709 County Road 15 NW.

The property is owned by Donald and Leila Buse of Brandon.

The barn appears to be a total loss.

Fire departments from Brandon, Evansville and Garfield battled the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
